November guest designer: Louise

Hello I am Louise, a wife, mum and avid scrapbooker.  I teach full-time (Maths and Science) and am from a small town just a few miles north of Nottingham.   I was so excited to be chosen as Novembers guest designer for the double layout sketch.  And what an amazing sketch it was to use.   I knew straight away that I would do a Christmas layout - to me it is all about love and joy.   The challenge was finding the photos to scrap.  My teenage sons are at that age where they (a) hide or (b) pull silly faces when the camera lens points there way.  I also knew that I wanted to use project life cards in place of some of the photos.  I ended up making some of my own to mix in.  I loved the bold geometric lines of the sketch and decided to echo this by edging everything with black.  A few punched hearts and flowers (to echo the hearts in the pink paper) and enamel dots (my favourite embellishment at the moment) finished the layout.  I have been scrap booking for 10 years and mainly do layouts about my family - although I have recently challenged myself to do more layouts with scenic photos.   I blog about my scrapbooking and life here http://arimumscrapping.blogspot.co.uk/.

November guest designer: Jessica

Welcome back Jessica as our guest designer for November!

I am a stay at home mom to 4 kids, ages 2, 5, 7, and 8.  They definitely keep me busy, but it is so worth it! I can't imagine spending my life doing anything else.  My husband and I have been married for 11 years.

Besides scrapbooking and card making, I like to work out, volunteer at my kids' school and church, and practice my photography.  I started scrapbooking when I was still in high school. I added in card making a few years later. I figured I had all the supplies, I might as well use them for cards too! I am honored to have been chosen as guest designer this month at Stick It Down. If you would like to see more of my work, you can visit my blog at http://jessica-createandshare.blogspot.com/.

November guest designer: Rainny

Hello, my name is Rainny, and I live in Taiwan.
I've been a secretary in a small company for 11 years.
I got married in May this year and we have a puppy daughter, Riceball.
My husband is very supportive of my hobby.
When I was a university student, I started making cards.
In recent years, I love scrapbooking.
I like to record the life and treasured memories by scrapbooking.
I also host the non-profit club, "More Handmade Challenge," and hope more people love scrapbooking and card-making.
I made a lot of friends from this club and learnt from each other.
This is one of the best things of hosting the club.
It's my pleasure to be chosen as the guest designer at Stick It Down.
